NAGARJUNA BIOGRAPHY

Akkineni nagarjuna born august 29, 1959 in chennai ,India ,often known as nagarjuna , is a popular Indian Telugu cinema actor and a sucesful producer .He is the son of veteran actor, Akkeneni Nageswara Rao, who is a very respected actor having succesfully done multiple films through the last two and hal decades.Nagarjuna was born to telugu cinema actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Annapurna .Nagarjuna did his schooling at hydeabad public school and later went to ratna junior college to do his intern=mediate.After that, he went on to do mechanical engineering in college of engineering,Guindy,Chennai(which is an Anna University in -house department).He later attended the university of Louisiana Engineering .Later on he did his post Graduation in MIT.His first movie vikram released on may 24 ,1986 was a remake of the hindi film Hero starting Jackie Shroff.After acting in four films, he acted in manju as a tragedy hero;similar roles were known to be his father's forte.He acted with his father in the movie Collectorgari abbayi.His first big hit was akhari poraatam co-starring sridevi than ran for 100 days in 12 centers.Geethanjali a love story directed by maniratnam followed by shiva an action `film directed by ram gopal varma were highly sucessful and established him as one of the top heroes.During this phase of his career he relished working with new directors such as ram gopal varma in order to recreate his screen persona and enjoy a certain creative energy, through the fresh approach of these young directors .He also made his Bollywood debut with the hindi remake of shiva which was a hit followed by khuda gawah, drohi also directed by rgv but bomed at the box ofice.His next criminal directed by mahesh bhatt was average . His last hindi film was" angarey"which bombed at the box office
